Vinnarna kommer att hyllas kvällen före Baumas (11-17 april) öppningsdag på en ceremoni vid Allerheiligen Hofkirche.
"The innovation award" är indelat i fem olika kategorier: Machinery; Components; Construction Process/Construction Work; Research; och Design.
Totalt 118 bidrag från hela världen kom in och av dessa valde juryn ut 15 stycken som nu tävlar i de olika kategorierna. Alla bidragen, menar juryn, erbjuder betydande praktisk nytta och ekonomisk potential. De är också hållbara och gör ett bidrag till energi- och resurseffektivitet.
